Three NFL Trades That Need to Happen

4 p.m. is the NFL trade deadline and we have already seen a few big trades; Duane Brown goes from the Houston Texans to the Seattle Seahawks, Jimmy Garoppolo went from the Patriots to the 49ers, and the Miami Dolphins traded Jay Ajayi to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Here is a look at a few other trades that could, and should happen, before we hit the deadline.

  1. Indianapolis Colts trade wide receiver TY Hilton to the Baltimore Ravens- the Colts now are going to go into a massive rebuild. Jacoby Brissett is likely on the way out once Andrew Luck returns from his shoulder injury and GM Chris Ballard would like to stockpile assets, aka draft picks, and put a brand new team around Luck. The Ravens have not gotten much production from their receiving core so far this year and TY Hilton would be a huge boost.
  2.  The Colts also trade cornerback Vontae Davis to the Dallas Cowboys- As is with the scenario above, the Colts have a few trade chips that they could use to stockpile draft picks and Davis is one of them. The Cowboys have a very young secondary that could get exposed come playoff time and Davis would provide the veteran leadership that they need.
  3. The Pittsburgh Steelers trade wide receiver Martavis Bryant to the Buffalo Bills- Nobody would have thought that at this point in the NFL season, the Buffalo Bills would be just a half-game behind the New England Patriots for first place in the AFC East, yet here we are. The Bills have been doing this in spite of a lackluster performance by their wide receivers. Martavis Bryant wants out of Pittsburgh and the Bills could absolutely put Bryant's talents to use right away. This trade makes a lot of sense for both sides.

Today is sure to be an entertaining one so just sit back and relax.

Happy Halloween!
