We have some new demands from Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell. In his latest freestyle (you can check it out below) he says, " I’mma need 17, cuz 26 is savage."
So the demands have gone up from $15 million to $17 million per season.
One of the most explosive players in the league, who deserves to get paid undoubtedly, but this "me first" approach when you've missed 17 your first 64 regular season games due to either injury or suspension is not the way to get things done.
Bell, who is expected to report September 1st to the Steelers and play under the $12 million franchise tag, has missed all of training camp and preseason so far. While he looks to be in good shape, we won't know for sure until he gets out there and plays if he is in football shape.
If I had to lay a gentleman's wager on where Lev Bell plays next season, I'd be willing to wager that this will be the final season that he represents the black and yellow.
