Looking at things from CV's POV...
I'm very upset with myself for thinking like this but for the sake of the franchise, I think the Colts should sit quarterback Andrew Luck for the season.
I say this because their offensive line is beyond atrocious and as good as Luck is, even he needs a little help from the hogs up front. Last year Luck was sacked 41 times. FORTY ONE!!!! Why would you want to put him behind that offensive line that couldn't protect the most valuable player on your team?
Add that to a non-existent running game and a bad defense, that's a trifecta of bad "luck" (sorry for the bad pun) that could be coming Indy's way.
If there is any sort of doubt about the health of Luck's shoulder, keep him on the sidelines and let him rest up.
Yes, the Colts will have to throw Scott Tolzien out there but better him to take a beat down than a man you've invested a lot of money in to.
Essentially, I'm saying the Colts should tank (I hate thinking this way) and get a high draft pick and try and put some sort of resemblance of an offensive line in front of Luck next year.
The Colts are in a tough spot, but it could get a hell of a lot worse if they don't protect Andrew Luck.
