Trusting The Process

From left to right: Robert Covington, Ben Simmons, Markelle Fultz, and Joel Embiid

It's been a long time coming but things are finally starting to look up in the City of Brotherly Love. The 76ers swapped picks with the Boston Celtics to acquire the No. 1 overall pick, which they will use to select Washington's Markelle Fultz.

Since Ben Simmons missed all of last season due to injury, this year could mark the first time in NBA league history that a team has two rookie No. 1 overall picks on the same team.

Fans in Philly have been trusting the process since Sam Hinkie took over as the general manager back in 2013. He resigned in 2016 and Bryan Colangelo took over.

Despite Hinkie being gone, fans know who is responsible for this turn around.

As long as these guys can stay healthy, the sky is the limit for the 76ers.
