I understand that for a lot of you, Christmas is not only be the most joyous time of the year, but the busiest. Christmas Eve at this families house, hosting Christmas dinner at your house, opening up gifts in the morning, maybe popping over at the neighbors, checking out Christmas lights...the list goes on and on.
This year is going to be extra specially tough too, because not only do you have the holiday to worry about, you've got a great slate of NBA games, NFL action on Sunday, and many of you are playing in your fantasy super bowl this weekend as well.
Just to give you an idea, let me break down the schedule:
- Christmas Eve sees 12 NFL games, 9 of which have playoff implications. **Minor relief, no Sunday Night Football game. But, Cowboys/Seahawks is on around dinner time, be prepared.
- Christmas Day is a mess of great sporting events: The day starts at noon with the Sixers vs Knicks, then a Finals rematch with the Warriors/Cavs @ 3:30, as that game is going on Steelers/Texans kicks-off on NBC, then Wizards/Celtics @ 5:30, Rockets/Thunder tip-off @ 8pm, while simultaneosly the Raiders/Eagles game starts on ESPN. Then, a night cap with the T-Wolves and Lakers.
- The only bowl game to worry about is Fresno State vs Houston on Christmas Eve @ 8:30pm in the Hawaii Bowl. So, we're probably safe skipping that one..
How do you manage it all? What are you looking forward to most?
Disclaimer: We can be honest with each other here, it's okay to vote for one of the sporting events. That doesn't mean you don't like family time, maybe it just means you spend enough time with them as is. And in-laws, I mean, c'mon...this is your safe-place sports fans.
And remember- if you don't vote for family time, it's all anonymous.
