The Gators may want to grab a sweater, because it looks like they might get left out in the cold. 

UCLA just fired Jim Mora, presumably to get themselves in the Chip Kelly sweepstakes. If Kelly wants to stay out west where he found success with Oregon, that would be a good place to do it. Plus, he already knows what it's like coaching/recruiting in the Pac-12. 

Scott Frost rumors were running rampant over the weekend, with reports that Frosty could be headed to Lincoln, Nebraska sooner rather than later. (Lars Anderson from Bleacher Report reported, found below) 

Let's say both of those guys take other jobs, or Frost stays at UCF, whatever the case may be, it seems as though it's no lock the Gators will land the apples* of their eye. We know how stubborn, arrogant, and entitled Gator fans can be (Kravitz editorial), will any other coaching candidate out there satiate the demanding palate "Gator Nation"?
