Jared Goff became the next NFL quarterback to ink a massive deal on Monday, signing a 4-year $212 million contract extension with the Detroit Lions. Annually, Goff will be paid $53 million - second in the league behind only Joe Burrow. The salary cap is increasing, and it seems a ton of that money is being dedicated to keeping quarterbacks paid in line with their counterparts across the league.
