UCF football landed two major commitments in the class 2024 yesterday with 4-stars CB Jaylen Heyward and WR Bredell Richardson.

The commitments land UCF a spot inside the Top 25 of 2024 recruiting classes according to Rivals.com

The Knights now have 17 commits in the class of 2024, which includes nine 4-stars and eight 3-stars. To put it into perspective on how impressive the nine 4-star commits for UCF is, TCU has the second-most in the Big-12 with five. They played in the College Football National Championship last season, yet UCF is almost doubling the Horned Frogs 4-star numbers.

The increased numbers in 4-star recruits shows the impact joining the Big 12 has had for the Knights. Success along the way has certainly helped, including back-to-back undefeated regular seasons and a Peach Bowl Championship for UCF in 2018. But if you look at the recruiting classes from 2018 and 2019, only two 4-star recruits. As we have already seen, the impact of joining the Big 12 is sending UCF football to another level.
