I've been juiced up to talk about the results of this draft, I had a lot to get off my chest. In a more random thouht...one of the things that I find fascinating through all of this, is the intersection, once again, between the Magic and the Rockets. 2 franchises who seem inadvertently attached at the hip.

Think about the big run ins these franchises have had over the years:

· 1995 NBA Finals (highlights below)

·One of the biggest trades in NBA history: June 29th 2004. The Rockets sent three-time NBA All-Star Steve Francis, his backcourt partner-in-crime Cat Mobley and Kelvin Cato (with his ridiculous salary) to Orlando for two-time All-NBA teamer Tracy McGrady, Juwan Howard (with his monster contract), Tyronn Lue and Reece Gaines.

· Last Thursday: The Magic draft Paolo Banchero when everyone in Houston was printing their Paolo jersey’s already. And Jabari Smith goes 3, clearly unhappy with the dip in the draft. He’ll forever hold a grudge with Orlando.

Those were the only 3 I could think of off the top of my head, but they’re pretty big if you ask me!
