This week’s competition, let’s pick some games! (spreads locked as of this morning)

1.Heat @ Hawks (+2.5)- I’ll take the Hawks here, their backs are against the wall, they know they can’t go down 0-3 and get back into this series, and some of these shooting % are out of whack. Trae Young is just 2-of-17 (11.8%) from behind the arc with 16 turnovers through the first two games of this series. That should correct itself at least for their first home game of the series.

2.Red Sox @ Rays (-1.5)- Both teams hover around 50% ATS on the season, but the Trop will be rocking with Sox fans, I’ll take the +1.5 run discount on a team that’s really just as good as Tampa right now. (Wacha vs Kluber).

3.Bucks @ Bulls (+1.5)- Chicago at home, first playoff game @ the United Center in a while it seems, I could see them showing up big in this one. I’ll take Chicago. Feels gross doubting Giannis though.

4.Suns @ Pels (-1)- I think people are a little too hyped up about New Orleans right now. Let’s not forget, the Suns were the best team in the NBA, and they had several games where they were without either Booker or CP3. This team is deep, I’m not giving up on them yet. Give me the Suns.

5.Dodgers @ Padres (+1.5)- Dodger have a 75% cover rate this year. They have the better lineup, I think they have the better pitching matchup here. (Urias vs Nick Martinez) so I’ll take the Dodgers minus the 1.5.

6.76ers @ Raps (+3)- I don’t expect the Sixers to sweep Toronto, this will be a gentlemen’s sweep, and this is the Raptors best chance. I’ll back the dinos.

7.Mavs @ Jazz (-4.5)- I’m all the way out on Utah. Quin Snyder looks bewildered and Jalen Brunson has channeled his inner Derrick Rose. I’ll back Dallas here.

8.Celtics @ Nets (-3.5)- Give me the Nets and please excuse me as I hurl into this brown paper bag.

9.Blue Jays @ Astros (-1.5)- Anytime I can get the Canadian Rock Band known as the Blue Jays @ +1.5, I’m probably going to take it. Even if its against Justin Verlander. Houston is 2-3 in its last five and 3-7 against the run line in the last 10 games.

10.Grizz @ T-Wolves (+3)- Grizz, I’ve faded Minnesota in every game in this series, that’s my rule and I’m sticking to it.
