Top 5 Players Kravitz is Hitching His Wagon to in the NFL Draft

Time for our Tuesday rankings, the NFL Draft is 16 days away and its time to start getting ourselves in the right mindset so Here. We. Go.

Top 5 players I'm hitching my wagon to in the NFL Draft

5- Ikem Ekwonu- NFL Draft analysts miss all the time, but one area I never see them miss on, are offensive lineman who specialize in run blocking. Especially when they don’t come from glamor schools. The big school guys can look better because of the athletes beside them or behind them, but when you’re looked at as the #1 prospect by a lot of smart football people out there as a run blocking tackle from NC State. I know you’re good. One scout called him- A gentleman in class and killer on the grass.

4- Kenneth Walker III- I think he’s the best RB in this class. Great vision, good enough speed, he can catch…we’ve seen another elite level RB come out of Michigan State recently with similar attributes. Le’Veon Bell anyone? He runs a little more angry than Bell. I see a good mix of vision and wiggle. I go back to that game against Miami. In the South Florida heat and humidity, he wore that team out. 27 carries, 189 total yards. I think he’ll be a star day 1. One more note- Walker held the longest streak in the country for carries in NCAA without a fumble, spanning over the 2019, 2020, and part of the 2021 college seasons. His first and only fumble came last year in week 4 against Purdue.

3- Nakobe Dean- If you’re looking for guys to stake your repuation on, he’s a good one to lean on. The Georgia linebacker led the team in tackles in 2021, won the Butkus Award, led the team in tackles in the national championship game against Bama, calls plays defensively, and was a 4.0 student with a major in mechanical engineering. Does this sound like a guy that’s about to fail? He’s undersized, but I love that. So was Luke Keuchly and Zach Thomas…doesn’t matter. If you are smart, have grit, and can tackle, you can be a successful linebacker.

2- Desmond Ridder- All he did in college was win. And while that doesn’t always translate to NFL success, you’ve got a much better chance when you stand 6’3 211, can run, throw with power, and have a good head on your shoulders. Cincy has been really good these past few years because they’ve excelled defensively and Ridder rarely made mistakes. I see a high-end Marcus Mariota when I watch him. I think if he lands in a run first offense, he can thrive right away.

Number 1!- Chris Olave and Garrett Wilson- Give me either one of these guys. I truly believe if you were to swap their jerseys, you wouldn’t be able to tell them apart. Both electric, fast, great catch radius, great after the catch. Both 6-0/6-1 guys, about a 190 soaking wet. I think they’re both going to be fantastic pros.
