Here are the key things you need to know to prepare yourself mentally for another season of MLS action here in Central Florida:

1.Orlando City finished 6th in the east at the end of the regular season and lost to Nashville 3-1 in round 1 of the playoffs. The “experts” expect a similar finish from Orlando City this year.

2.Big names on the move for the Lions- Nani returned to Europe, Daryl Dike’s rights were sold to a club in Europe for a record 9.5 million dollars, and Chris Mueller signed with a team over in Scotland after 74 starts with Orlando City. Ercan Kara is the new acquisition from Australia people are all psyched about. + Cesar Araujo from Uraguay.

3.Oscar Pareja slides back in as the head coach for his 3rd full season. Which would make him the longest tenured OC coach in their MLS history.

4.Orlando City has a new jersey named the “Sunshine Kit” which looks pretty phenomenal. (photo below)

5.As far as the league goes- NYCFC is your defending champ, Carlos Gil from the Revolution is the reigning MVP, and NE-Seattle-LAFC are the odds on favorites heading into the season.
