Should the Orlando Magic Be Active at the NBA's Trade Deadline?

Not such a great weekend for the Magic. Grizzlies are 18-4 since Christmas…Celtics have won 12 of their last 16…it was a bad combo, and they both toyed with the Magic.

It sort of makes something crystal clear that we already knew, but I think these blowouts just make it easier to stomach…the Magic need to sell, sell, sell.

I know people want answers…who can the magic get? What exactly can they receive in a trade? Truth is, its probably nothing of substantial value, but this is more about just declaring – These are our guys. (the guys you don’t deal) – and just getting something in return to shake it up where you can. Clearly the Magic are still in discovery mode, so see if you can find some diamonds in the rough. Kind of like what they did with RJ last year. See if you can find that guy, give him minutes, and see what shakes out.

Here's the list of guys that could absolutely be on the move for the Magic:

· Mo Bamba

·T-Ross

·Gary Harris

·Robin Lopez

· Jonathan Isaac (17.4m for the next 4 seasons)

This from BleacherReport.com:

All of that is to say that the Magic are extremely flexible and asset-rich. They own all their own first-rounders and have two lightly protected picks incoming from the Bulls and Nuggets, respectively. Movable deals, expiring contracts, trade exceptions—Orlando can use all of those resources to stockpile picks and young talent.

The Magic have the worst record in the league, but they might be among the teams best equipped to win the deadline.
