Stone-Cold Locks for Championship Weekend in the NFL

We have officially hit the gravy stage of the Locks-Season ladies and gentlemen because yours truly is 67-60 on the season and there’s only 3 games left to lock up…the 2 we’re about to talk about and the Super Bowl. Now, does this mean I’ll be resting on my laurels?! Hell no. I’m in it to win it. Let’s make some $$, time to lock ‘em up!

Chiefs (-7) vs Bengals- I’m looking up and down at this game and I can not find an area on the field where I like Cincy more than KC. Last week felt like one of those games for Mahomes and the Chiefs where if they were going to lose, it was going to be that game. That was the single biggest punch anyone could’ve landed in these playoffs, and they still got back up and won the fight. This has been an adorable run by Burrow and the Bengals and believe me, they will not go away – we’re going to see them in this spot for years to come. But. Not their year, they came to the party too soon, and they’re about to be thrown out by the bouncer. Chiefs -7. Lock it up.

68% of bets right now on the Chiefs.

Chiefs are 3-0 ATS in their last 3 games.

Bengals beat Derek Carr and crappy Ryan Tannehill to get to this game.

49ers (+3.5) @ Rams- Don’t the 49ers have a team of destiny feel to them right now? How many different times do we need to see wild-cards like the Ravens, like the Giants, like the Bucs last season, the Steelers in ’06, the Packers in 2011…when these teams get hot, they just steam roll their way to the Super Bowl. It feels like that kind of thing could be happening here. Full disclosure, I have the Rams going to the Super Bowl, I’ve said it all season, so yes – I’m hedging my bets a bit here, but 3.5 is simply to much, when the Rams have not proven they can beat this 49ers team. The 49ers have beat the Rams 6 straight times, 5 of which the 49ers were underdogs going in. It’s a bad matchup for the Rams, the Niners are one of those rare teams that can generate pressure without blitzing and that leaves more guys in coverage to pick off Matt Stafford…and haven’t you noticed Matt has been oddly perfect throughout the playoffs, what are the odds that keeps up? I’ll take the Niner + the points. Lock it up!

56% of the bets on the Rams.

49ers 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games.

This is now the Niners 4th straight road game: @Rams, @Cowboys, @Packers, and now @Rams again
