Divisional Round Stone-Cold Locks via @BrandonKravitz

Blistering hot last week, I hope to keep it rolling this weekend. Overall record this season rests at a very respectable 64-59. An opportunity here to go almost 10 games above .500…which would basically make me a professional gambler…let’s make some picks, time for my STONE-COLD LOCKS of the WEEK!

Bengals vs Titans (-3.5)- I love me some Joe Burrow, I believe in what he is going to do as a pro QB over the duration of his career, this Bengals team is fierce…but, I’m taking the Titans here. Key injury on the Bengals defense, they’re going to have trouble plugging that whole in the middle of the field. If Henry is ready to go, or even if he’s not – D’Onta Foreman has been a beast. This Titans team has the rest, they are bruisers, and how about this stat- the Bengals rank 31st in the NFL this season in 1st down defensive efficiency…not gonna work against a healthy Titans team. Their offense will wear down the Bengals, and their defense is going to get after Burrow… I just feel like this is where the Cincy ride comes to an end. I’ll take the Titans -3.5. Lock it up!

49ers (+5.5) vs Packers- There’s only one side to be on in this game, and its San Francisco’s. Of course, the confidence level SOARS if Nick Bosa is out there and able to play for the 49ers, but honestly, this pick is much more about A) What the Niners do on offense. B) Not trusting the Packers in the playoffs. I was looking @ the numbers- there are 2 areas where Green Bay’s defense has been most vulnerable this season – against the run, and against TE’s. Umm, that’s not good when you’re going up against the best run scheme in the NFL and George Kittle. I think we’ll see a similar close game to what we saw last week with San Fran, they are too good, they are too built for postseason play to be blown out…so even if GB wins, I expect SF to cover. 49ers +5.5. Lock it up!

Rams (+2.5) vs Bucs- Man, this is tough. So tough. I hate this, this is a head vs heart situation for me and I’m about to do something that I absolutely despise…I’m picking against Brady @ home in a crucial playoff game, it feels so gross. I need a shower. I haven’t eaten all day, just agonizing over this pick, but I have to do this. I have the Rams going to the Super Bowl, and for good reason. This is the best roster in the NFC, maybe in the NFL, and they have the d-line and the linebackers to absolutely harass Brady in this matchup. Plus, I can’t overlook those o-line injuries. Tristan Wirfs is an all-pro, Ryan Jensen is one of the best centers in the league, those guys are hurt. Now, maybe they play, but @ what % of their top game…so hard to know how that will effect the game, and I don’t trust Stafford as far as I can throw him, I’m just taking the better team here. Rams +2.5, lock it up.

Bills vs Chiefs (-1.5)- This is for the AFC. I have no doubt in my mind that whoever wins this game is headed to the Super Bowl. Both of these teams have been playing lights out, both of these QB’s are on top of their games, should be an absolute classic – at least we hope. This one wasn’t really close back in week 5, 38-20 the Bills won, but that was right in the middle of the wild slump we saw the Chiefs go on early on this season, this is a different Chiefs team right now, it’s the Chiefs we’re used to seeing. This comes down to value, I’m getting a red-hot Chiefs team @ home, with the defense playing well, and Mahomes on top of his game…and the line is only 1.5…I would take the Chiefs against anyone in the league in this scenario. For that reason, I take KC with confidence. Lock it up!
