The transfer portal has been overloaded with talent as of late and UCF is the latest beneficiary, former 5-star Terrance Lewis transfers over from Maryland.

Former Maryland linebacker Terrence Lewis announced Monday that he is transferring to UCF.

Lewis, a five-star recruit, wasranked as the 21st-best player in 247's ranking of the Class of 2021and the top middle linebacker in the country.

Lewis tore his ACL in 2021 and redshirted the season, giving him four years of eligibility before stepping into UCF.

Lewis is expected to fill the role thatTatum Bethunevacated after he announced his transfer last week.
