Week 11: Last-Minute Waivers!

Last-Minute Waivers:

QB- Cam Newton- This one’s a layup, Cam came in and scored 2 TD’s in short order last week – he actually scored more fantasy points than Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson combined last week. Now, I think life will be a bit tougher for him today – but he is going up against a team that ranks DEAD LAST against QB’s in fantasy.

RB- Latavius Murray- I’m seeing him available on way too many waiver wires. He’s only projected to get 2 or 3 point this week which throws people off…but the guy’s been out for 3 weeks with an ankle injury…prior to that, he was the lead back in Baltimore. Upon his return, they cut LeVeon Bell. Vote of confidence there. And all he has to do is beat out Devonta Freeman for touches? Sign me up. He should be rostered in all leagues. (Dart throw: Patrick Taylor in the GB backfield- 23 years old change of pace back with Aaron Jones out)

WR- Michael Gallup or Cedrick Wilson- No Amari Cooper today in a game that could be one of the more explosive we’ve seen all season. Really depends how deep your league is, if Gallup is available- pick him up…if he’s not and Wilson is, pick him up. Both are high-upside flex plays today in that Cowboys offense.

TE- I could say Dalton Schultz for the same reasons I’ve listed above with those other Cowboys- but let’s give you someone who doesn’t play for Dallas. How about Cole Kmet? You like targets? He gets ‘em. 21% target share in the Bears offense dating back to week 7, that’s the 3rd highest among TE’s in that span. Juicy matchup today, Ravens have allowed the 3rd most fantasy points to the TE position this season.

DST- Let’s start thinking a week ahead – I figure we’re talking to playoff hopefuls here, what about Chicago’s DST, they’ll be FEASTING on the Detroit Lions bad offense on Thanksgiving Day…and besides…its always more fun to have some fantasy action on Turkey Day. (Browns, Chargers, Eagles would be my 3 favs if you need one this week off the wire)
