After finishing top 5 in passing yards and touchdowns, Dillon Gabriel should flourish under Gus Malzahn despite his track record with Auburn QB's. Some people have questioned whether or not Malzahn can develop quarterbacks considering he had signal callers who regressed or transferred during his tenure at Auburn. However, Jarrett Stidham and others didn't possess the skill set that Dillon Gabriel has and he won't be dealing with SEC defenses. If you've watched Gus Malzahn's play-calling in the past, he is known to get creative and working with an already ripe QB will allow him to operate properly. Dillon Gabriel will be the guy that dismisses the narrative that Malzahn can't get enough out of his quarterback.
