One was a 6th round pick and the other was the No. 1 overall pick. Yet Gardner Minshew was (the 6th round pick) is the one that has his team 1-0 despite the fact that many expected them to be in contention for the No. 1 pick in next year's draft.

While nobody was really expecting the Browns to beat the Ravens, Baker Mayfield has drastically under-performed since coming into the league 3 years ago. They were expected to compete for a division title last year and finished with 6 wins.

What's the difference between the two? Why has Minshew been more effective in his 13 starts than Mayfield has in over 2 years? Austin Gayle explains, "He takes the open throw, no matter what. He's not trying to be Superman, he's not trying to push the ball downfield in tight windows. You can win with that type of QB."
