It's hard to imagine calling Patrick Mahomes "underpaid" after he just signed a half-a-billion dollar extension with the Kansas City Chiefs. Yet, he very well could be.

Austin Gayle explains, "Everyone's looking at this first half-a-billion dollar contract in sports history. Towards the back end of this contract, this guy is only going to be taking in probably 18-19% of the cap. That's absurd." He also went on to say, "I think the Chiefs get the better end of this deal in years 7 plus of the contract because they're not going to the drawing table. Imagine going to the drawing table with Patrick Mahomes in four years. It's not going to look good. You're going to be paying this guy like $60 million plus."
