The draft is just phase 1, real fantasy champions dominate the waiver wire all season long, and navigating what is real and what isn't is no easy task. Fret not fantasy owners, that's what I'm here for! Now, every website on the internet that talks fantasy football has an ADD list, but I'm going to give you what you really need: A DON'T-ADD list. Plus, a buy-low and sell high candidate. Enjoy and keep on winning...
Brandon Bolden RB NE: Don't even get me started on Patriots running backs. Some sports cliches are just tired old cliches that don't really apply anymore in the modern world...That is not the case for this phrase "you can't trust a Bill Belichick RB in fantasy football". Bolden may have gotten into the end zone on Thursday, he may have had 5 touches, he may have even made the most of his opportunity. All of that is true, what's also true, is that the moment you start him, Rex Burkhead will start scampering into the end zone.
Panthers DST: Don't look now, but Carolina has been an elite defense in fantasy football and nobody seems to believe it. They were started in less than 50% of leagues this week. Unfortunetly the luck may be running out. They're on BYE this week and next week they have the Niners. They'll be going up against a SF team who has been tearing everybody up! Should've struck while the iron was hot, cause now may be too late, at least for these next 2 weeks.
Sam Darnold QB Jets: I don't know what got into Sam on Sunday. Somebody might have been spiking his chicken noodle soup with PED's while he was out with mono, because he was a superman vs Dallas. Over 30 fantasy points and a bomb for a TD to Robbie Anderson. I'm not buying it though. Pre-mono, Darnold had just one 30 point performance over the last year plus.
Buy-low: Cooper Kupp
Sell-high: Carlos Hyde
Obvious add candidate: Hunter Henry
