MLB Announces Attendance Numbers - Florida Teams in Dead Last

Sure for Marlins fans, it was a bad year. 57-104 so far is bad so it makes sense that they are dead last in the attendance books, averaging just about 10,000 fans per game.

But the Rays are a different story. They are a lock for the playoffs, but they are still stuck in the basement in attendance. They sit at 14,734 fans per game and that is not good, obviously. This season was weird for fans who were seemingly threatened by a possible split of the team with Montreal. Now that they are still in a race for worst in attendance, the odd decision by the owner may just come to fruition.
