Yankees Extend Record Home Run Streak to 29 Games

The New York Yankees extended their home run streak with a bomb in the second inning against the Blue Jays, keeping their record streak and making it to 29 games. They broke the record that was held by the 2002 Rangers which sat at 27 games in a row.

The Yankees are fourth in MLB with 131 team home runs, even though they have been riddled with injuries. Also during the streak 14 hitters have gone yard for the Yankees.

The Yankees will have two days off before heading to London for a series against the Red Sox where a lot of unknowns are in play. This could spell an end to this historic streak.
