Bill Russell had one of the best resumes in sports history and not just that, he was a pioneer for what led sports to have the star power and success that leagues have today. It is hard to quantify just how influential Bill Russell is in United States history. Magic Johnson among other NBA stars that came after him, have viewed Bill Russell as their hero and idol.
