Finishing in second doesn't get you a lot of credit in American sports ("if you ain't first, you're last") but when it comes to the Tampa Bay Lightning, we must tip our cap to their efforts. Coming off back to back Stanley Cup Championships, the Bolts really found a way to grind themselves back to the Final and attempt to three-peat which is special in of itself.
Losing Game 4 at home in overtime was the turning point of this series. To the credit of the Lightning, they got the series back to Tampa after winning on the road but the Avalanche ended up hoisting the trophy after Game 6.
