The NFL has reportedly approved a major change to its overtime rules.
Reports are out that "Playing Rule Proposal 1" -- which guarantees both teams at least one possession in overtime -- was amended during the league meetings, but it will only be effective for the postseason.
Per Adam Schefter of ESPN, "both teams now will be assured of getting the football in overtime during the postseason"
