Saint Peter's Cinderella Run Should Come To An End When They Face Purdue

One of the biggest reasons we love the NCAA Tournament is because there's always an underdog storyline unfolding that nobody saw coming. This year, it's the 15 seed from Jersey City, the Saint Peter's Peacocks. They knocked out 2nd seeded Kentucky and followed that up by eliminating the (7 seed) Murray State Racers.

Saint Peter's now finds themselves in a Sweet 16 matchup against the (3 seed) Purdue Boilermakers, one year after 15 seeded Oral Roberts also made it to the Sweet 16 but fell to Arkansas in a final second finish. That leaves us wondering if Cinderella's run ends in the Sweet 16 or can they do the unthinkable?

Adam Kilgore of The Washington Post joined In The Zone today to discuss themes of this year's NCAA Tournament and our segment with him can be heard in the podcast clip below.
