Another Bowl Game Cancelled Due to COVID

We're seeing a 4th college football bowl game cancelled due to COVID-19 problems. The Arizona Bowl headlined by Boise State and Central Michigan has been cancelled after Boise State withdrew due to extensive COVID-19 cases within their program. After the Broncos pulled out, Central Michigan was left with no opponent and decided to leave the Arizona Bowl and join the Sun Bowl. How were they able to do this? Because last week the Miami Hurricanes pulled out of the Sun Bowl in El Paso Texas.

So Central Michigan will now play the Washington State Cougars in the Sun Bowl on December 31st.

Thus we've seen the Hawaii Bowl, the Fenway Bowl, the Military Bowl, and now the Arizona Bowl all as victims of COVID 2021. Hopefully, this is the last one we'll have to lose this year.
