Week 10: Last-Minute Waivers in Fantasy Football!

Last-Minute Waivers:

QB- The WFT ranks last in the league in terms of points allowed to the QB position. Its why I have Tom Brady ranked #1 this week. But, the Bucs aren’t much better. TB’s defense ranks 23rd against opposing QB’s…which is why I nominate Taylor Heinicke as my waiver wire wonder this week @ QB. Heinicke has scored into the 20’s in 50% of the games he’s played this season. We could be looking @ a shoot out in our nation’s capitol.

RB- Priority #1 Rhamondre Stevenson. Damien Harris has been ruled out with a concussion, and Stevenson is the next man up. He barreled for 106 total yards last week and appears to be capable of handling both short yardage situations and passing down work. Instant plug and play. Priority #2. Eno Benjiman. I’m less excited to throw him into my starting lineup, but with Chase Edmonds headed to IR he’s a must add player. James Connor has been great but his injury history is richer than the Kardashians.

WR- Priority #1 Van Jefferson. With Robert Woods out, it will not be OBJ taking his place, it will be Van Jefferson, at least in the short term. Sean McVay’s offense can be complicated, he’ll favor the guy whose been working in it for the last 2 season…a lot of big play potential. Decent flex option today. Priority #2. Tyler Johnson of the Bucs…I’ll do it so Zac doesn’t have to. A lot of injuries to Bucs pass catchers, if you are in a bind, he might be able to return some sneaky value in what should be a high scoring game.

TE- Tyler Conklin- This guy has been one of the many hot potato players all year long, but he’s a good start today if you need a TE. Cousin should be throwing a lot and the Chargers rank 4th worst against the TE position.

DST- If the Saints are out there, they could be a sneaky good play today. If you follow the vegas trends, this is setting up to be a huge let down spot for the Titans…if that indeed comes to fruition, it’ll be the defense, not the offense, that wins this game for the Saints.
