There were two people at last night's UCF v Boise State game that many didn't notice. And the truth is, these two guys, being at that game, might mean more for Orlando than we recognize.
Last night, Cole Anthony and RJ Hampton were on the sideline for the the biggest UCF game in a couple years.
Here's why it's important.
This shows an excitement about the city (and investment into the city), that we haven't seen from Orlando Magic players in, we don't even remember how long. Having two of the top stars on this newly formed Orlando Magic team, on the sidelines, supporting the "hometown team" and going ballistic is magical.
You want the stars in your city, invested into the city on this level. You never saw Aaron Gordon or Vucci going to support the young kids at UCF. Them being on the sidelines certainly inspired the young players.
More importantly it showed ALL OF US, that we've got a couple guys that are dedicated to, and excited about, the success of Orlando.
No matter how it comes.
