I'm convinced we all owe USA Men's Basketball team an apology. Not because we lambasted them for losing. They deserved that. TAn NBA All-Star team representing the USA should not lose in the Olympics EVER.
But we do owe them an apology...
For not caring when they actually started winning.
Yup, that's right. We were LOUD and OBNOXIOUS while Team USA was losing. We were patriotic, we exaggerated, we analyzed, and we questioned if the NBA was worthy of being in the olympics any longer. We had soooooo much to say when they lost.
And then they after that first win, we all stopped paying attention.
Like seriously. All of us, collectively stopped caring. We didn't watch another game. Radio hosts across the country didn't utter their names again. In fact, most of us couldn't tell you who else Team USA has beaten.
We are wrong for that one - LOL
We all owe the USA Men's Basketball a collective apology.
