Let's be honest here; sports fans: You're not watching as much of the Olympics as you have in the past, are you?
NBC reported that the Opening Ceremony for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics this passed Friday garnered the lowest ratings for an opening ceremony in 30 years.
The TV audience dropped about 37% from the Rio opening ceremony in 2016.
There are many factors that go into this stat: COVID still running rampant through sports, fans not being allowed to enjoy the event in person due to COVID restrictions, the air times for certain events, and much more.
