It's COLLLLLLLD in BIG D-
"They just aren't good at their jobs." These are the kind of words coming out of the Cowboys locker room as things seem to be melting down around them. "Sources" inside the team have started to chat it up with the media and players have started calling out the coaching staff and I'm actually okay with it. Kind of.
Listen players don't want to be held accountable for what's going on in Dallas. All the players realize that the Head Coach McCarthy has very little power in the organization. We all know Jerry Jones is the Owner, GM, Head Coach, Film Coordinator, PR Representative, Get Back Coach... EVERYTHING. So it's totally understandable that players will start to leak their thoughts on the coaching staff in order to make sure when it's time to renew contracts, they aren't blamed for the awful play the Cowboys are having right now.
Many people will scream.. BUT LOYALTY! Listen, there's no loyalty in pro sports. This team will drop any one of these players in a heartbeat if it's what's best for the team. So these guys know, whether it's in Dallas, or somewhere else, they are going to need a clean name. It's certainly going to be interesting to see how quickly this plane falls out the sky, or whether they can find a way to circle around and land safely at the top of the NFC East at the end of the season.
