Tiger Woods To Play His First Event Since Pandemic

The Memorial Tournament will be the second of two consecutive events to be played at Muirfield Village with the Workday Charity Open this week being the first. The Memorial Tournament will also mark the first event for Tiger Woods since the coronavirus pandemic.

Tiger has skipped the first five tournaments. Two of those tournaments included the Arnold Palmer Invitational and the Players Championship, which he skipped due to minor back issues.

Over the next 13 months, Tiger will have seven opportunities, two U.S Opens, two Masters, two PGAs, and an Open, to collect his 16th major victory.

For this season so far, Tiger had three starts with two top-10 finishes including a win at the Zoo Championship.
