David Price Paying Minor Leaguers $1,000 for Month of June

These are unprecedented times we are going through right now. Companies are firing and furloughing people to try and save money, including the sports world. While some MLB organizations are paying minor league players $400/week, others have decided to release players altogether to try and save money.

Dodgers pitcher David Price is taking money from his own pocket, and paying every minor league player (not on the 40 man roster) $1,000 for the month of June to try and help those who are struggling financially.

And people are noticing.

It's nice to see players helping out other players at a time like this and hopefully the owners take notice.
