By now we know that Tom Brady is a Tampa Bay Buccaneer. There was much discussion about whether Chris Godwin would give up the No. 12 and how much he would ask for the number from Brady.
Both of those questions were answered on Tuesday.
Godwin had worn the No. 12 all three years he has been in the NFL with the Bucs while Brady wore the No. 12 for his entire 20-year career in New England.
As for the quarterback that Brady is replacing in Tampa, Jameis Winston is still searching for a job.
Chris Godwin hopped on 'The Boardroom' podcast and explained how Jameis Winston was unfairly criticized for his season last year.
"I definitely think he got more of the blame than he deserved. I think he's a really, really talented quarterback. He does some things that you can't teach and there's some plays that he made that just weren't smart plays. But a lot of the interceptions and the mistakes that he made, at least half of them, were a bad read on somebody else's part. The great thing about him is that he's not going to throw anybody under the bus."
