Houston, Do We Have a Problem?

Houston Texans v Philadelphia Eagles

When news broke that the Houston Texans were acquiring running back David Johnson from the Arizona Cardinals, nobody in the world outside of the Texans management staff thought they would be sending back DeAndre Hopkins. The full trade was that the Cardinals receive Hopkins and a fourth-round pick in exchange for David Johnson, a second-round pick this year, and a fourth-round pick next year.

This is the same team that gave up first-round picks in both this year and next year's draft to the Dolphins to bring in Laremy Tunsil and Kenny Stills. Yet they can't get first-rounders back for Jadeveon Clowney and now DeAndre Hopkins. That's a red flag.

Another red flag we have are these cryptic tweets sent out this week by quarterback Deshaun Watson, who probably (and for good reason) is not happy with the organization.

From a couple days ago...

For sure cryptic. Then you couple it with this tweet from a couple days earlier...

The icing on the cake happens with that tweet from earlier this week when Deshaun Watson liked a tweet sent out by someone who quoted Watson's tweet with lyrics from Drake saying, “I’m just sayin’ you could do better, tell me have you heard that lately?” with a picture of Patriots head coach Bill Belichick on the phone.

It would be easy to see why Watson would want out of Houston. He and DeAndre Hopkins connected for 31 touchdowns over the last three seasons and the Texans got essentially nothing back in the deal. There's rumors also swirling that Hopkins and head coach / GM Bill O' Brien did not get along which factored into the trade.

Houston, it seems like you could have a MAJOR problem!
