"We'll see how it goes" - Chris Godwin on Giving Up No. 12 to Tom Brady

Perhaps the biggest free agent signing of all-time. Tom Brady, after two decades with the New England Patriots, is coming down to Florida to play for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Brady will have the weapons around him that he didn't have his final year up in Foxborough in receivers Mike Evans and Chris Godwin.

The latter sat down with Bucs reporter Casey Phillips for an episode of 'Bucs Beat' and the two talked about a multitude of topics including the No. 12.

"My phone has been blowing up over the last 24 hours on Twitter, Instagram, phone calls, text messages people just asking me the same question. I think it'll be very interesting, whatever happens. We talked briefly but hadn't mentioned that at all. Obviously if he doesn't want it or if he's not making a big deal, I'm definitely going to keep it. I think out of respect for what he's done, what he's accomplished, the career he's built for himself you kinda gotta lean into that respect. We'll see how it goes."

One thing I never thought would happen is Tom Brady switching uniforms and that has now happened. Could we see Brady rocking another number on his jersey as well?

Time will tell.
