Coronavirus threatens 2020 Olympics

This is not good news for fans of the Olympics. IOC member Dick Pound has put an ultimatum on the Tokyo Committee to see if the coronavirus is under control by late May or "you're probably looking at cancellation."

There have been over 75,000 cases of the coronavirus in mainland China with more than 2,700 deaths causing this incredible world scare. There have been 175 reported cases in Japan with only two deaths, but if any more happen, it could spell disaster for the 2020 Summer Games.

This according to AP writer Stephen Wade:

A senior member of the International Olympic Committee said Tuesday that if it proves too dangerous to hold the Olympics in Tokyo this summer because of the coronavirus outbreak, organizers are more likely to cancel it altogether than to postpone or move it.
