Magic first team under .500 to beat Lakers thanks to Fultz triple-double

The Orlando Magic had late second drama with both the Phoenix Suns and Sacramento Kings before a date with the Los Angeles Lakers, where there would continue to be drama late in the game.

Markelle Fultz scored four points in the final minute and put up 21 for the game to go along with career-highs in rebounds with 11 and assists with 10 for his second career triple-double. Complimenting Fultz was Aaron Gordon who also dropped 21 points, Wes Iwundu (starting for Evan Fournier) put in a career-high 19 points as did Nikola Vucevic.

Fultz also put on some nifty moves to shake LeBron James and put the Magic up three with 15.4 seconds left in the game.

The Magic were up by 21 about halfway through the third quarter before the Lakers made a comeback. This has been a trend for the Magic during their six-game road trip but they were still able to hang on to improve to 2-1.

Up next for Orlando is the Clippers Thursday night.
