As reported by CBS Miami, a Florida woman claims her dog was eaten by an alligator.
Authorities in Auburndale have begun searching for an alligator who allegedly assassinated a beloved family pit bull. The dog, dubbed "Tank," was said to be over 100 pounds. Tank was allegedly roaming free, without a leash, just enjoying a warm Florida day around a retention pond. Tank's day took a turn for the worst when an alligator, said to be "about 10 feet long," decided Tank was going to be on the menu.
