Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is crediting his fiancée, Academy Award nominated actress and singer Hailee Steinfeld, for his potential NFL MVP season.

“She’s been a huge part,” Allen said of Steinfeld via the Associated Press. “The morale, the support. When I get home, she’s my biggest fan, my biggest supporter. She’s just the best.”

Allen, 28, is currently having the best season of his career and is the favorite to win the Associated Press NFL MVP award at -900 odds, according to DraftKings Sportsbook, despite having lost wide receivers Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis this past offseason. The two-time Pro Bowler has thrown for 3,395 yards, 25 touchdowns and five interceptions on 275 of 427 passing, while also recording 484 yards and 11 touchdowns on 91 rushing attempts, leading Buffalo to an 11-3 record through 14 games.

Allen shared a photo of himself proposing to Steinfeld on November 29 with the caption "11*22*24," with the proposal appearing to have taken place one week prior to the post. Shortly after, the NFL shared a clip of giddy Allen addressing reporters on November 25, telling them his bye week was "fantastic" in a video captured by WGRZ-TV.

"Fantastic, it was great. I got some sun, hung out with family, it was fantastic," Allen said while smiling four days prior to revealing his engagement.
