Quick blurb from Kravitz:
So Matt Stafford recently became the highest paid QB in the NFL. A lot of people are mortified by this, but they shouldn't be. I have a theory: If you are a Top 15 QB in the NFL, and you're up for a contract, you will instantly become the highest paid player in NFL history (unless you play for the Redskins). This happens for one simple reason, teams don't want to get stuck with a Bottom 15-er.
Somehow, the explanation of my theory became a conversation about Jay Cutler, and whether or not he's a top 15 QB in the NFL. I said yes, but I'm here now to test that theory. Here's my 'off-the-top-of-my-head' top 15, we'll see where Cutler falls:
1. Aaron Rodgers
2. Tom Brady
3. Drew Brees
4. Matt Ryan
5. Russell Wilson
6. Big Ben
7. Phillip Rivers
8. Andrew Luck
9. Derek Carr
10. Matt Stafford
11. Jameis Winston
12. Cam Newton
13. Andy Dalton
14. Marcus Mariota
15. Dak Prescott
Apparently, Jay Cutler is not a top 15 for me.
Notable omissions: Carson Wentz, Carson Palmer, Joe Flacco, Kirk Cousins.
