The term 'Blue Bloods' always pops up in the Month of March amidst the Madness. The term is not defined or restricted to any specific team(s), but the term has become oversaturated. Not ever program with a National Championship is a blue blood. Having a dominant run in the 70's does not make you a blue blood in the sport, while recent success also does not qualify you for this prestigious title.

Stefan the "People's Champ" and I came to agreeance on the FOUR true Blue Blood programs in college basketball, while others should be considers "New Blood" or "Old Blood".
