Shot Doctor's Top 10 Takeaways Preseason Week 1
10. Dallas is done without Ezekiel Elliott
Dallas' biggest star is their best weapon. Dak Prescott isn't going to be the guy to pull them to the playoffs, they need Zeke to do his thing to be successful.
9. KC has another stud WR in Mecole Hardman
Mecole Hardman is fast. Really fast. He is the kind of dynamic wide receiver that KC needs to give their dynamic quarterback another incredible season.
8. Steelers are still deep at WR without Antonio Brown
The Steelers are down a headache but their production will remain high. JuJu is a great replacement and their other wide outs will pick up the slack thanks to the absent Antonio Brown.
7. Steelers moving up to draft Devin Bush makes sense now
He's a dynamic player that is going to be a difference maker for Pittsburgh. I was scratching my head at the draft but consider me a believer.
6. Eagles have two studs at TE
Zach Ertz was the second best tight end in the league last year. Dallas Goedert will be right there with him.
5. NY Giant QB controversy is just beginning
Daniel Jones was excellent. He showed us how he is comfortable playing the game of football and Eli Manning should be scared of this rookie.
4. Bears RB David Montgomery will be great right away
Montgomery had three carries for 16 yards and a touchdown. Expect more of that because he is good, and I mean really good.
3. Josh Rosen has NO CHANCE in Miami
Ryan Fitzpatrick is doing that thing that he always does. He comes in looking like god's gift to football and he is squashing Josh Rosen's chance at redemption.
2. Seattle will be just fine at WR
Seattle had a slew of receivers get work in during the game and all of them made plays. Four had receptions of 23 yards or more with a stiff Paxton Lynch throwing to them. Seattle is set at WR.
1. Cleveland added two rookies to the defense who are really good
Greedy Williams and Mack Wilson are going to be huge for this already great defense. Mack Wilson was everywhere during the game and I expect him to be everywhere come NFL Sundays.
