The USWNT is moving on to the Quarterfinals in the FIFA World Cup thanks to a 2-1 effort over Spain in the round of 16. Megan Rapinoe was the hero as she scored on two penalty kicks during the game, the first in the seventh minute, the next in the 76th minute.

It was not a breeze though as Spain tied the game quickly in the 9th minute forcing both sides to stay at a competitive pace.

The US will go on to face France in the Quarterfinals.
