The Tampa Bay Rays (14-11) defeated the Minnesota Twins (12-14) 6-2 on Friday night at Tropicana Field. With the win, the Rays have won their last two in a row.
The Rays got four home runs - two from Junior Caminero and two from Jonathan Aranda - to key the Rays offense. Drew Rasmussen (2-0, 2.45) got the win, allowing one earned run on five hits in six innings of work while striking out six and walking one.
The Rays and Twins now meet in the middle game of the three-game series on Saturday afternoon. First pitch Saturday is scheduled for 4:10 PM - Chris Adams-Wall begins pregame coverage at 3:30 PM on 95.7 WDAE & AM 620.
