Blue Jackets Snap Lightning's Point Streak

The Columbus Blue Jackets (24-20-7) defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning (32-14-4) 8-5 on Saturday night at Nationwide Arena in Columbus. With the loss, Tampa Bay saw their streak of getting a point in games snapped at fifteen.

Mason Marchmant had a hat trick and an assist to lead the way for Columbus. The Lightning were led by two goals from Jake Guentzel in the losing effort. Darren Raddysh, Nikita Kucherov and Anthony Cirelli also scored for Tampa Bay.

The Lightning now return home for their next five games before the Olympic Break. The stretch begins on Monday night when they host the Utah Mammoth. Puck drop between the Lightning and Mammoth is scheduled for 7:00 PM on Monday night.
