Thursday was quite the scare for Team USA's men's basketball at the 2024 Paris Olympics. The American super-squad was going up against a Nikola Jokic led Serbian squad in the semifinals for the chance to play for the gold. Despite trailing for 35 minutes and a deficit of as many as 17 points, the Americans were able to muster a 4th quarter comeback to secure the win. However, basketball fans around the world were not pleased.
Many took to twitter to express their displeasure on Team USA to allow Serbia to nearly beat them, to which the leading all-time Olympic scorer Kevin Durant responded.
