Fantasy season is upon us! Actually, not really. We are still over a month away from the NFL preseason, but that's not stopping the Chief of Zone-Head Nation - Brandon Kravitz. BK delivered his first Top-12 Ranking in Fantasy Football on Tuesday on In The Zone. Check out the list and reasoning at the list below, and tune in to the full segment for a deeper dive at the podcast linked below.
1. CMC- No need to overthink this one. Best RB in the NFL by a significant enough margin. 21 total touchdowns last year. In a genius offense. He’s the #1 and #2 option in the red zone.
2. Tyreek Hill- Still the most explosive WR in the NFL. In his prime. In a great offense with a QB that has proven he can support Hill in a big way.
3. Justin Jefferson- On a per game basis, he’s the best player in fantasy. You do have the Sam Darnold problem but JJ is so good, I think he’s QB proof. He has a coach that will scheme him open. And he got paid, so you don’t have to worry about him being disgruntled.
4. Ja’Marr Chase- Last year was a bad year for the Bengals and he still finished as WR8. Burrow missed a ton of time. And he was injured while he was out there. The breakout for Chase is coming – and I want to be ahead of it, not behind it.
5. CeeDee Lamb- Consensus has him at 1 or 2, I think that’s a little rich. He went on an unrealistic 5 game tear at the end of last season, had a game with 227 yards. Feels like the Cowboys offense could take a step back this year. Love him, just like the others ahead of him better.
6. Amon-Ra St. Brown- He’s seen a target increase every year of his career. Up to 164 last year. The record is 193…he might contend for that.
7. Breece Hall- #2 RB in fantasy last year, made due in a bad offense. If Rodgers can actually stay upright, Hall’s upside is the #1 overall player in fantasy.
8. Bijan Robinson- Robinson’s 1,463 total yards ranked sixth among RBs last year. His 51 catches ranked 10th. And he was underutilized in Arthur Smith’s system, with bad QB play. Big season coming.
9. AJ Brown- He’s been steady across 2 seasons with Jalen Hurts. Still just 27 years old and he’ll probably score more than 7 TD’s next season.
10. Saquon Barkley- This is the type of situation he’s been waiting for. I think 1300 yards and double digit touchdowns is virtually a lock if he stays healthy.
11. Garrett Wilson- If he can just avoid back up QB play – he’s gonna be money. He’s topped 80 catches and 1k yards in back to back seasons with some of the worst QB imaginable.
12. Jahmyr Gibbs- If he didn’t split work with Montgomery he’d be higher, but this is a supremely talented RB who only got better as the season went along.
